Millenium reunion, 7th October 2000

Nineteen "old girls" turned up at the Dene Hotel on the day, with quite a few travelling some distance to attend. There would have been more of us if it had not been for the last minute rescheduling due to the fuel crisis. We held the last reunion in 1987 as many will remember, so to hold one in Millennium year seemed appropriate - and not before time. Overall the idea was well received, although they are not everyone's cup of tea. One "old girl" was so traumatised by the one she attended circa 1972 (anyone remember this one?), that she felt quite unable to repeat the experience!
